Doctor Who liveblog

I’m rewatching Doctor Who (the reboot) from the beginning.

I’m just having feels.

The first word the the Doctor ever said to Rose was, “Run.”

Nine grabs Rose’s hand, tells her that he can feel the earth moving, that they are clinging to it, falling through space, and then he lets her hand go.
he says, “Forget me, Rose Tyler.”
he’s so bitter. cynical. and yet, Rose stays with him.

“…and his constant companion… Death.”

sidenote… I forgot how awful the CGI was in the earlier seasons…

Rose’s reaction when she goes inside the TARDIS for the first time is the best. :D

There’s been a revelation made about Nine and Rose’s kiss. Look very closely at Rose after Nine finishes the extraction of the Time Vortex from her mind; we can’t hear it, but she whispering “thank you” to Nine and all I can say is…Wow. I can’t tell you how much this blows me away considering I’ve made gifs of this scene so many times and yet have never caught this.

I’m just speechless because it means that for one brief moment before she lost her memory of this event, she knew how much Nine loved her and thanked him for saving her life. It’s amazing how much these two continue to surprise me.

I’m trying to find the perfect contacts for my Pinkie Pie cosplay, and I’m having a hard time finding ones that will work with my astigmatism. I want to have Pinkie’s blue eyes, but also be able to wear my (fake) hipster glasses I bought for the outfit, and not have to worry about my real glasses not fitting in. 

anybody know where I can get some bright blue colored prescription contacts for astigmatism (preferably NOT single use)?
